John Rigdon is the Chief Planning and Design Officer with Waterloo Greenway Conservancy. He leads the capital project, weaving together the efforts of project managers, the City of Austin, and the design team. John has led planning, design and construction at Waterloo Greenway since 2013. With roots in city planning and community engagement, he has provided strategic direction and leadership on a vast array of project management, design, and programming challenges across his career. John earned an M.S. in community and regional planning from The University of Texas at Austin and a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
