ABOUT OUR SPEAKERS:

Riley Triggs, Capital Delivery Consultant, Austin Convention Center
Riley has provided project management leadership on large-scale, highly complex, multidisciplinary, and capital infrastructure programs for City of Austin projects since 2019. He currently serves as the Capital Delivery Consultant for the Austin Convention Center redevelopment and expansion project, supervising the design and construction coordination.

A native Austinite, Triggs is a practicing architect and former professor at the University of Texas, where he taught a variety of courses in architecture and design. He holds a professional degree in architecture from UT and a graduate degree in architecture from Rice University. He led an economic development team at the Texas Historical Commission, was an advisory board member for SXSW Interactive, and is currently the board chair of Lu Cuna Center, a nonprofit exploring balance in modern life through sustainability, bioculture, art, and architecture.

Katy Zamesnik, Assistant Director, Austin Convention Center
As an executive team member, Katy spearheads work on the redevelopment and expansion project team, managing financial operations and partner relations.
Since March 2022, Zamesnik has held her current position, providing guidance and oversight for the redevelopment and expansion of the Austin Convention Center, the department’s overall budget, funding mechanisms, and debt services. She continues to oversee the administration of ACCD’s community engagement and arts programs.
Zamesnik earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and International Affairs from Florida State University, and a Master of Public Affairs from the University of Texas at Austin.

She enjoys outdoor activities, sporting events, and spending time with her beloved dogs.
